Current 7 day event is Rank Up Push.As it will end on Thursday, save any more Rank Ups, hopefully we will have a 3-day Rank Up event that overlaps.
Going for the milestones in the 7-day event is not worth it, getting the Alpha in the 3-day is easier.
Also it's been a very long wait, Crystal Crash cannot come soon enough but the 8 are still holding out, just about......ahhhh I really want to open my 4* crystal!!!

Crystal Crash is finally here!!! So open minimal crystals to register your score so that everyone has a chance to get rewards. Not good timing for Kylarion and Judd as they are both on hols, but hopefully they can get access to the game to open their crystals as they are part of the 8!
Rank Up Push - 7 day vs 3 day
I know a few players are very keen to rank their 4*s or high level 3 stars during the 7-day event but if we try to do our best during this event, will we lose out on the Alpha from the 3-day event which could follow Crystal Crash? And even if there isn't a 3-day event straight after, should we not still save those rank ups until there is?
I'm aware that cats are expiring but a screenshot of why this is an issue might be helpful to better understand the issue.
Anyway I think if everyone can post the score they can get from ranking up in the comments below, we can decide which reward is worth going for in 7-day event over the Alpha in the 3-day event.

That's right, Kenpark ranked first in the recent 3* Air Support Arena, he may be in the beginner bracket but he certainly knows a lot about the game, very well done!
Other News
Some might be wondering about the Shard Crystal, here's a screenshot that a player posted on the Kabam forum. Looks like you will have to get 1000 shard pieces to make up one single crystal. Maybe an attempt by Kabam to make getting a 4* more attainable but no-one knows yet how you have to get a Shard piece. I thinking it will be from a drop in quests but more might be be available from milestones in the Arena.

I think I'll be able to post around 10k for this rank up. Personally I'm happy to hold out for the 3 day event but understand why other may not be. The worry is that holding out for the 3 day (if it doesn't come) may well split the group meaning we don't hit either alpha.
ReplyDeleteWith the crystal event finally on us it might benefit us for the rank up as people should have plenty of gold and iso from the crystals we've been saving.

About the rank up, I could do approx 25k on it and even more if we skip this one and wait for the 3 day one, but my only problem is if the 3 days one not gonna show up in the next 2 weeks then i will lose 15 tier3 cats and i really wount be happy for that as i had a lot of "work" in those cats.
So I would prefer to go on this event.

I can currently do around 18-20k on rank up. I have a 4* IP ready for level 2 however if I rank him I have 2 days to get enough gold and Cats to get him to level 3 and another 5k.

Ken don't lose those cats! With your work rate you'd replace them before the 3 day rank up anyway :)

another question, what is this 8 about? One of the eight, what does that mean?
Delete8 members have been saving all crystals for quite awhile, waiting for this three day event. While the rest of us have been opening our crystals to complete the daily events.
DeleteI can probably do around 7.5K in rank up, will be more once I've opened crystals but won't have time to rank up on Thursday during the potential overlap of the 7-day and 3-day event.

You can do it even now then Way. I had think about it and I will do my rank ups even if not the 3 days rank up next because it that comes I will probably have an other 2 or 3 4* champs to rank up.

It would be good to hear from more players. If together we can't reach a decent milestone (and what is a good one, feature crystal/3* basic YJ), then it would be points wasted.
DeleteI'm happy to wait and make sure we get an alpha in the 3-day but there's no point you wasting tier 3 cats when you'll have more 4*s to rank.
